Google groups
A very useful tool to use when you have large groups to email.
- Can be looked at in groups and emails
- Set up global contact group
- Create one email to share with this group - eg whole class

I will find this useful when I need to email my whole hub and/or team.

Google drive 101
- Invest time to show learners how to set up their drive
- Create the doc in the folder that you want it in
- For marking/finding doc purposes get learners to use initials as front of doc name
- Teach learners to ‘copy’ and ‘paste without formatting’ - command shift V
- Don’t underline anything - this means that it is a hyperlink.

These tips all seem so simple but something I would never have discovered on my own.

- Ways to re engage with a text they've just read.
- Reading and then noticing the pronunciation of words.

I had a lot of fun playing around with Google docs and exploring new ways to create a poster. It was a lot of fiddling but could definitely be a useful tool in the classroom, especially for those more visual learners.
- If you want to direct someone to a certain part of a document - click the -hyperlink of the table of contents you want - eg summary and copy that link
- Table of contents could be dates for each piece of work - 1 doc per learner

- Coach learners around sharing a digital docs - game where they share docs and add to each doc a different answer until they get theirs back

This is something I was quite unfamiliar with and I am now so excited to start using.
